Around 11 o'clock on a Friday morning, a trash truck hit a low hanging power line in front of my house.. the city power line workers told me that I should go down to the city and apply for a permit to have it fixed and I told them it's 11:30 on Friday morning I'm not going to be 3 days without power. Call John Barnes Electric and John Barnes himself was here in about 20 minutes he got on his cell phone and call the city inspectors and told them this was an emergency situation and he was going to take charge of it and John got my house rewired and I was back in business before 4.30 same day..

I called John Barnes Electric to repair my doorbell and front porch light. They arrived and after inspecting claimed neither could be repaired and charged me $100. Then I called Watson Electric in Wilson and they came out and promptly fixed both doorbell and porch light with no trouble. This leads me to believe John Barnes Electric is incompetent.
