This store has been a very good store for many years. The people here have always been very helpful and very kind and take care of this store very well.
Bought the Thanksgiving turkey dinner. The turkey was the best of the package. The sweet potato casserole , the string bean casserole and the corn bread stuffing didn't do it for me. During Christmas l might see if they have the fully cooked turkey by itself. I am glad that they increased the cooking time on the chicken quarters so they are cooked all the way to the bone now because before they were raw at the bone. They still run out of the specials before the specials are over, like Breyers ice cream and Jones braunschweiger (sliced liverwurst) for starters. Also when opening a new register line, the cashiers should grab the next person in line at the nearest register rather than allow someone else to be waited on who has just arrived on line.
There are a lot of free samples. A fresh meat section. Fresh fruit section.
The prices are on the higher side but a great selection, including a good amount of vegan and other specialty foods, and good promotions. Definitely my favorite grocery store in this area.
This grocery stores the only place in Rocky Mount that you can get good craft beer. Well except for the brewery at the The Mill. The only place I go to when I come back to Rocky Mount. Everywhere else seems to be overtaken by well nevermind if you live there you know. #onedayatatime
