Workers are friendly but be sure to check your vehicle. I've rented from this location twice. The first time, without incident. The second time, the windshield of our vehicle was smeared so badly it was dangerous to drive at night and we had to stop and buy Windex to clean it. Additionally, they'd left the EZ Pass transponder in the glove box, not the window unit and was charged for tolls. Hertz Corporate and local offices redirected me to three or four help lines before finally resolving the issue. Again, staff are friendly but be sure to check vehicle thoroughly when picking it up.

Insurance company made reservation for me. As instructed, called an hour in advance of reservation, told they were cleaning returns and to call back in 1.5 hours. Called back at prescribed time; my reserved car had been rented out. Called twice more over the span of a few hours...car not available; however, if I wanted to pay out of pocket for an upgrade, they had one. Lost day of work thanks to this. Lodged complaint with insurance company and had them change me over to another company.

Had a reservation thru my insurance company to pick up a vehicle. Called to confirm my appointment and was rudely told to call back 30 minutes before my pick up time. When i called back i was told there were no vehicles available. (This was on a friday at 4:00). I expressed my concern that the reservation and confirmation was made hours earlier and why did i not receive a call if the status had changed. I was informed, rather rudely again, that they only have so many cars and they are given out on a first come first serve basis regardless of reservations and they don't hold cars. I was told to call back Sat morning and maybe they will have gotten a car back in. Needless to say I called back Sat morning and after dialing in excess of 30 times, the guy answered only to tell me they had one car in and that if I wanted it I should come on in and hope no one gets there before I do because he will not hold it. So I did the next best thing, I told him to cancel my reservation because I will never try to rent from Hertz again and I informed Geico of this horrible encounter because no one should have to go thru this. Geico took a statement from me and I hope they don't use the Hertz ever again in the Rocky Mount Area!!

Hertz it's a great company i've been rent with them for a long time but some employee need to respective jobs under them job right
