My mom bought me a "graduation" ring for graduating from college because I wasn't really into the rings the school had to provide. She knew I liked the David Yurman style rings (sqaure cut), so she had them design a square ring with a dome onyx encircled by a square of 16 diamonds on a pewter silver ring with my initials inscribed on the inside, and on the outside down one side "2009" and down the other side "NCSU." IT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! I have had it for about a year now and it still looks as brilliant as the first day I got it. I get compliments on it all the time asking where it is from-- you just can't beat Wade Designs! I hope my future husband is smart enough someday to come to them for a ring design... :) THANKS WADE!

My wife and I have been lucky to find good local jewelers everywhere we have lived over the years. Wade Designs is no exception, and it deserves attention and a visit from anyone in the Twin Counties and beyond needing a piece of jewelry or special gift.

Most recently, I needed to find a Mothers Day gift, keeping in mind a much tighter budget. Though I could not find the "perfect" piece of jewelry, Rita showed many several other gift items amongst her voluminous and eclectic inventory that met my needs. The piece we picked was perfect, not only artistic and elegant, but unbreakable and durable (great when you are trying to find "nice things" to have out with a toddler roaming the living room).
With the souring economy, many jewelers succumbed to offering the cheapest knockoffs of mediocre "quality" possible to win your business and make a profit. John and Rita Wade possess too much passion for their business and too much integrity to offer anything less than the best in all of their offerings.

Earlier this year, I needed to pick out something I promised my wife a while back in honor of a special family event. My plans included visiting Wade Designs, but prior to that, I did check out the selection available at Rocky Mount's other jewelers, as well as a few in Raleigh. None of them (not even Bailey's) had anything I wanted with respect to quality or style. All they cared about what discounting it enough for me to take it out the door.
