That Spanish lady at the front desk rude at the desk and on the phone
The front desk is extremely rude.. they make u wait in line when they arent busy And if theres more then two working they look at u and still expect u to wait for the one actually working.. they have absolutely no medical training whats so ever. For example.. my son (during football season) was taken to the hospital for a concussion. When I called to get a emergency appt for him I was told he is considered a new patient (even though Ms.Jevita Terry is his health care provider) they couldnt get him in for three weeks!!! No i dont think so!!!! Concussions are taken very serious now. After going rounds and rounds with them i had to call the medical board and file a complaint. Ms. Terry heard about it and got him in right away. They have done several things like this to me as well. They are nosey as hell too.. they want ur bday ur address and the reason why u are calling or they wont take a message. Not their business.. they have also told me i need to cancel my surgery because they didnt have a appt available when i needed it.. funny thing i finally got ahold of Ms.Ebony and she got me in the next morning. Now there is a new problem they are playing again i need my meds they failed to send and they are giving me the run around again. If it wasnt for Ms.Terry and Ms. Ebony i would leave asap. Someone needs to whoop their ***!!!
Some of the front desk workers is rude or you got to wait in line to get called for your appt than they want to say you late... if I didn't like to travel I would be at another doctors office I think they like just billing patients insurance had to come see a MD for prescription I been receiving for years denied faxing a new a rx to the pharmacy just so I can be seen smh... its always something with this place
my family recieves GREAT medical care here is why i give it a 3 but front desk and phone is awful when you come in they dont acknowledge you but only to say stand behind the sign while they answer phones and put people on hold and talk to one another the hispanic lady is very rude cant multitask for nothing you can check people in and handle phone calls thats what slows the back up good am good pm we will be with you in a moment not stand behind the sign im busy im on the phone they need professionals not professional ego trippers and I LOVE pharm blue pharmacy!!! and there is a very rude black recptionist also we need annonymous performance cards

I rated Oic Family Medical Center with one star due to not being able to give a half of a star although they assist some patients that can't afford medical care. The front desk clerks are rude over the phone and in person. I waited 3 hours to be called from the waiting room and waited an additional hour in the back before I decided to leave. I wasted time and money not to mention the importance of my daughter's health. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctors office in my life.
