Good food, great variety of food choices st reasonable prices. Great selection of clothing, candies, and gift ideas for different ages. Everyone who works there are always so friendly and willing to help you whenever needed. Have the best pecan pancakes and the pot pie on Wednesday's today special is fantastic. They don't skimp on chicken and the golden brown crust is wonderful. Try Cracker Barr for yourself and I guarantee you want be disappointed. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the service can be a little slow dine in or carryout.
Ordered the Cracker Barrel Sampler with green beans, broccoli, and carrots. Meatloaf was very tasty. Surprisingly good. The country ham was very fatty, but the meat had a nice taste resembling pork roll. The chicken dumpling was gross. Pieces of uncooked soggy dough on top of a measly piece of chicken and all of it lathered in a sauce that was little more than chicken stock and corn starch. Really gross. The broccoli was steamed well and served plain. The carrots were cooked well and coated in butter. The string beans were nasty. Mushy/overcooked, tasted sweet and funky, and definitely came out of a can. People come here for the store, the friendly staff, and the cheap "country" food. Probably best to stick with fried items on the menu, anything potato, or a burger.
Great place for breakfast and some good down home cooking. Great customer service and nice little shop. I'd say it's probably the most popular restaurant in Rocky Mount according to the parking lot. It seems like there's cars and every spot but there's still a seat available.
I love Cracker Barrel! They are on point 99.5% of the time! Even the tiny fraction when something may not be right, they will try their best to make it right with you as the customer.
Went to there to eat. Hostess was rude.Would not wear us together. Our other party was finished eating before we even got our food. A full 45 mins or more and they ran out of grits and the eggs were cold. A horrible experience.
